Medusa Box v1.4.3 - featuring Desire S! _

Medusa Box v1.4.3 and Medusa Box Flasher v1.0.5 are out! Added world's first
Phone Repair (Dead Boot, Security, IMEI, CID Repair) via USB for HTC
Desire S (no need to solder JTAG wires - only small TP, no credits
required either). Added support for Qualcomm QSC60xx Mobile processors
with NOR flash and support for Texas Instruments OMAP3430 Application
processor with OneNAND flash. Also added support for Haier HC-C2000,
Haier HC-C2076, Huawei C2803 and Samsung SGH-B239.


Medusa Box Flasher v1.0.5 Release Notes:


  • HTC Desire S - added world's first Phone Repair (Dead Boot, Security, IMEI, CID Repair), Read Full Flash - all via USB.
  • Added user manuals for HTC Desire S (available via "Help" button).

To repair HTC Desire S you need to perform following operations:

  1. Press "Repair Phone" button.
  2. Reconnect the battery.
  3. Attach Testpoint and connect phone with Micro USB cable directly to the motherboard's USB port (avoid USB hub connection).
  4. Install necessary drivers (located at "C:\Program Files\GsmServer\Medusa\Driver\USBFlash" folder).
  5. Follow software instructions (prompts).
  6. When Repair will be done, you'll need to re-flash the phone with original HTC flasher (available at support area as well).

Medusa Box v1.4.3 Release Notes:


  • Added support for Qualcomm QSC60xx Mobile processors with NOR flash.
  • Added support for Texas Instruments OMAP3430 Application processor with OneNAND flash.

  • Automatically in EasyRepair Mode.
  • From "Medusa Free Section" at Boot-Loader v2.0 portal.
  • From FREE support area (press "Go to Support" button in "Support And Options" tab of software).
